Sometimes life can be difficult. But we don’t have to face challenges alone. At Trinity we are a community that serves each other, our city and the world. The bible tells us that that world will know we follow Jesus by the love we show each other. If you are in need of help, or prayer, or have relationships that need healing please reach out to us.

Read about our ministries below and scroll down and fill out one of the forms available to get in touch with us.

The Benevolence Ministry distributes benevolence funds to those in our community who are in financial need. Our goal is to try to connect you with resources and/or resource providers, give you some encouragement, and possibly provide you with new ideas or perspectives to apply to your current situation. If you are in need of assistance, please let us know by filling out the benevolence request form.

mercy

We are here to walk alongside you or a loved one through times of need, so that you can heal and continue to move forward in God’s will. We want to help you think biblically about your current struggles in the context of a caring environment by relying on Scripture as the sole authority for faith and conduct and recognizing that lasting change is the result of the power of God, the grace of Christ, and the indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit. Contact us to walk with you through:

• Sickness

• Loss (death, job, relationship)

• Crises

Or perhaps you just need an attentive ear to listen. As Scripture tells us, we are to, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2) as well as to, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). Let us love God with all our heart, soul, and mind by loving you.

prayer

As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you.  – 1 Samuel 12:23

Please join us for prayer needs after each service on Sunday mornings and for intercession on Thursday nights from 7-8:30PM, and on Wednesday’s in the sanctuary from 12:15-1:15PM to cry out to God for Revival and Spiritual Awakening.

At Trinity Baptist Church, we believe in Scripture based prayer because:

1) We know God hears our prayers

1 John 5:14 – This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Psalm 65:2 – O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come.

Jeremiah 29:12 – Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

2) We know God answers according to His will

1 John 5:15 – And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know that we have what we asked of him.
3) And because we, the body of Christ, are called to pray

Luke 18:1 – Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Psalm 32:6 – Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found

1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray continually

peacemakers

Are you experiencing conflict in your relationships with all the frustration, pain, and confusion that goes along with it?

Peacemaker Ministries teaches, “As people reconciled to God by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we believe that we are called to respond to conflict in a way that is remarkably different from the way the world deals with conflict. We also believe that conflict provides opportunities to glorify God, serve other people, and become more like Christ. Therefore, in response to God’s love and in reliance on His grace, we commit ourselves to respond to conflict according to the Biblical principles God has given us through His Word.”

We are eager to walk along side you in any conflict you are experiencing, whether it is with a coworker, friend, or loved one.  We are convinced that with the support and encouragement that comes from meeting together, we can spur one another on to “be at peace with everyone, as far as it depends on us” – Romans 12:18.

As ambassadors for Christ in the ministry of reconciliation, we pray that our service as peacemakers will glorify God and lead others to see the life-changing impact of His love and grace.
