volunteer opportunities
Trinity's Eders and Trustees have worked diligently and sought God to lead Trinity through the current difficult economic times. As we face diminished giving and apparent budget shortfalls, it has become necessary to reduce the size of our staff and reduce others to part-time status. In an effort to minimize the effects of these decisions on ministry and programs, we have identified additional volunteer opportunities available to our congregation. Some of the opportunities are available to begin right away and require minimal training, while other areas are still working to determine what functions will be performed by remaining staff.

Administrative

- Data Entry -- weekly input new or changed information into church database.
- Proofreading -- as needed per documents
- Answer Telephones -- answer and direct calls to the approriate person or area.

Multimedia

- Weekly Website Update -- from your computer or ours two to three hours each week on Wednesday or Thrusday
- CD Duplicaton -- one to two hours weekly on Thursday or Friday taking recorded files (sermon and worship) creating master disk and make copies using multi-disk burner
- happenings @ trinity -- from your computer or ours one to two hours taking formatted announcements and create weekly email linking to website using online portal "Constant Contact"

Children's Ministry

- Weekly preschool mailings -- 45 minutes once-a-week on Tuesday
- Address birthday postcards/room calendars -- 45 minutes at the end of each month
- Create/Edit ParentLink Newsletter -- two to three hours at the end of each month using Ms Word
- Change bulletin board in Fellowship Hall -- two to three hours every other month
- Help put together supplies needed for GODQUEST rotations two to three hours every 5 weeks

Youth Minstries

- Sunday School Leaders - Second service leading games and small group Bible studies
- Sunday Afternoon Guys Small Group - two hours playing games/activities and leading a Bible study with the middle school and high school boys
- Thursday Evening Middle School Girls Small Group - Dinner and a Bible study 6:30 - 7:30pm at Trinity
- Monthly Youth Newsletter - Two hours once a month to create/edit Youth happenings and events using MS Word or Publisher
- Website Update - two hours monthly to help create and update the youth website using your computer or ours
