Trinity Will Have ONE Service at 10am for the summer!
We’re switching to one service at 10am (June 6 – Sept. 19) with some Trinity Fellowship time after each Sunday service. There will be more opportunities to reconnect with each other and we all need that after a year and half of isolation, masks, and lockdowns. It’s time to reconnect!

We have some fun connection times planned for the summer!

June 13: Coffee Hour at Trinity
June 20: Walking Tour of Seneca Village in Central Park (host: Racial Reconciliation Task Force)

Seneca Village existed before the City built Central Park.  It was formed in 1825 and founded, in part, by Black church leaders.  It offered Black New Yorkers freedoms unimaginable in many other parts of the country. Many male residents owned property and were, thus, eligible to vote. As an autonomous and largely middle-class community, it represented the promise of emancipation. This is a great way to commemorate Juneteenth (now a national holiday). What is Juneteenth? On June 19, 1865, the news of the end of slavery reached Texas via orders from a Union Army general. One year later, in 1866, freed slaves began celebrating Juneteenth as the day they knew they were free. Juneteenth marks the end of slavery, celebrates Black culture and accomplishments, and acknowledges the systemic injustices people of color continue to face today.
