In July 2016, another team from Trinity headed to Rwanda. The team helped with building a home for Rose and her two children, Yvan and Godia. While at the build site, team members conducted children’s and women’s ministry lessons. The team enjoyed a party with World Vision sponsored children and their families. The team also conducted a training in Nyamagabe for 60 pastors on “Gender and the Bible” and “the Environment and the Bible” and a Global ALPHA Training (GAT) in Gatsibo for 50 pastors. The team also visited all previous house beneficiaries and the two schools the church has helped fund – Gitantu Trinity Primary School and Kigeme Vocational Training Centre. A special day during the trip was the official inauguration of the Gitantu Trinity Primary School, which has been named to honor Trinity’s partnership with the community.
