In July 2017, a new team from Trinity headed to Rwanda. The team helped build a home for Mediatrice and her five children. While at the build site, team members conducted children’s ministry lessons, including singing songs and playing games. The team enjoyed a party with World Vision sponsored children and their families. The team also conducted a training in Nyamagabe for 60 pastors on “Servant Leadership” and “Poverty and the Bible”. The team visited the Gitantu Trinity Primary School, where they helped work on the school’s infirmary as well as spend time with the teachers and children. They also visited the Kigeme Vocational Training Centre, where they were able to spend time with students in their classes of cooking, masonry, carpentry, and sewing. One evening, a special dinner was held where the team hosted the teachers from both schools, enjoying fun conversations and lots of laughs. The team also visited all previous house beneficiaries and spent time in fellowship and prayer with them and their families.
