Watching the news might feel overwhelming at the moment. It often does. But we are not helpless.
So what can we do?
PRAY
We can continue to pray. Pray unceasingly.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says:
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
We have a mighty God who we can pray will intervene and protect the innocent and “make wars cease” (Psalm 46:9). We believe that He is the ultimate authority over all. He is sovereign. So He is the One to petition. Everyone is welcome to join us for corporate prayer on Wednesdays (12-1pm) and Thursdays (6:30-7:30pm). Click here to request to join either prayer call.
