Each year, Cru Inner City packs thousands of Boxes of Love® to serve families in need throughout NYC. Volunteers will pack boxes that contain all the food items a family would need for a Thanksgiving meal.
This is a great group opportunity, and a family-friendly one as well — children (ages 4+) are welcome! Kids will also be putting together gospel bead bracelets and decorating the boxes. There are four shifts to choose from: 9-10:30am; 11am-12:30pm; 1-2:30pm; 3-4:30pm. This packing party is at the Cru Inner City’s Warehouse in Long Island City, Queens.
