Our Vision for Worship
Our desire is to help people experience the manifest presence of God; to move beyond just having a relationship with God, but also to experience continual fellowship with Him. We want to help people hear and recognize His voice in their hearts, through worship. That kind of experience with God is not reserved for the “super”-spiritual. God desires that for all of us.
We want our Trinity family to consider every worship event, including Sundays, as an opportunity to introduce others to that God experience. And to steward those opportunities well.
The difference between relationship and continual fellowship is important. A couple can have a legal relationship after their wedding day, and will continue that relationship if they never see each other – they will still be legally married. But they can go beyond that legal relationship and have fellowship with each other through spending time together and getting to know each other with increasing intimacy. So it is with God. When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we begin a relationship with Christ. We are saved by grace and nothing can separate us from His love (Rom 8:38-39). But having continual fellowship with Him involves spending time with Him until you get to know Him with increasing intimacy so that you recognize the sound of His voice, and you begin to care about what’s important to Him. Do you know the things in your world that are important to God? If you do, do you care about those things like He does?
We pray that you will experience worship that will inspire you to draw closer to God. “Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.”
– Hebrews 10:22
